Welcome! I am Stanzza Yvette Patterson, a junior at Oklahoma State University studying strategic communications and philosophy with an emphasis in public relations and legal studies. I will graduate from OSU in May 2016.
During my time here at OSU, I have learned a lot of things that have molded me into a great communicator. My studies have increased my proficiency in blogging, web design, audio and video editing, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, iMovie, GarageBand, social media etiquette and AP Style.
After graduation, I plan to attend law school at the University of Houston or the University of Miami School of Law. OSU has given me many tools to apply in the field of law. I am currently a law intern at the Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, Inc. I am able to apply the written and verbal skills I’ve learned thus far at OSU to assist attorneys both inside and outside the court room.
I am also a RevelU editorial intern. This internship challenges me with my managing abilities and AP Style. I recruited and managed my own writing staff, created my own editorial calendar and worked with the local RevelU Marketing team to ensure that content was properly and consistently shared across social media.
After graduating from law school, I would like to work in the entertainment or divorce law industry.
