Electronic Communications was a course that I took in the Fall semester of 2013. This course enhanced my knowledge and skill level in the areas of social media, video editing, Photoshop, and sound editing. This some of the work I produced from this course.
Tara Beall Marathon
For this assignment, we were instructed to interview and photograph a person of our choice. We then had to create an interactive slide show of them telling their story. We were not allowed to have our voices in the interview, which helped increase my comfort level in voice editing. This video is about one of my old teammates and her preparation and experience in running a marathon.
African Americans at Oklahoma State University
This is a video I created discussing the issues many African American students face at OSU. I interviewed and edited this video with a classmate, CJ Richards. We were required to work with a partner on this assignment.
Evie Inside
For this assignment, we were required to create a podcast radio show about the topic of our choice. Inside with Evie was a radio show about my best friend who is a track athlete at Oklahoma State University. Evie comes from my middle name, Yvette, a nickname that was given to me by close friends.
